Adorable! I've been in a similar situation. I'll never forget the shame of knocking over a salt cellar (something I have to admit I had never seen in use before) at one chilly dinner...and the reaction of the hosts! Cringe city. (Not my in-laws though, thank goodness!)
Great idea, what a clever take on "Polar." I love how complex your illos are, with lots of fun details that add so much to your compositions. I always like your colors too...
