Illustration Friday - Communication

Well, I'm afraid it's back to "not-really-satisfied-with-what-I've-just-created" thing. Sorry, guys.

P.S. And thank you really so much for your wonderful comments. They mean a lot to me.

  1. Surely you're not talking about this piece! I think it's great! Very expressive, and atmospheric. Lovely painterly colors as well.

  2. I like this. It looks like people waiting at a medical clinic. I can feel how tiered and bored the all are. Very well done.

  4. Right on mark with the body language of your characters. This is the hard part for any illustrator. You've nailed it.

I love your colors and your wonderful cats. The atmosphere in your illustrations is always very calming, peaceful [don't be too harsh on yourself, I think it's a lovely piece, Tusen!]

  7. You're being too hard on yourself Tusen :) The illo is a great representation of the word. Just look how much you've managed to show what's going on! Applause !!

I agree with all the other comments, this is a great piece, very soothing, with beautiful colors and lines. I like your style very much.

I understand how you feel, though. I very often feel the same way about my artwork, but that's why IF is so great. Sometimes we are not the best judges of our work and it's great to get feedback from so many talented people. :-)

  13. Whatever you think, I like this piece very much :-) Oh, and look that sweet siamese cat! Btw, your previous IF entry is also great. Obviously, you are in some kind of "siamese faze" :-)

  14. I love that that little siamese cat keeps appearing in your works, the gravity piece below is especially cute. Lovely poses and colours.

  15. I find this picture rather intriguing actually!!

The detail and the mother's attention of chatting away.

The mother on the mobile - whilst the little girl trying to seek attention.

How often one sees this in everyday life.

    Thank you so much.
