Illustration Friday - Canned

I missed at least three last topics, so I had to can them.
(Soaring Joey is dropping sour lemons on some naughty mice in the castle, Nana is staring into the fog, with her head full of foggy memories and Marija has had enough of mice and cats and is drawing a curtain over them, but they are quite persistent little beasties ;)

P.S. And thank you all for your lovely comments. I've just come back from a short holiday and it made me so happy to read them.

Before I get back to my illustrations

Inspired by Archana, her beautiful photos here and her chai blog, I decided to make my very poor imitation of ginger tea. I liked it, but I'm not going to admit what I used to make it.

Holiday part one / Wakacje część pierwsza

From the first part of holiday (south of Poland/a bit of Slovakia) we brought some photos, a bit of suntan (despite the rain) and a book in Slovak.

Z pierwszej części wakacji (południe Polski/kawałeczek Słowacji) przywieźliśmy zdjęcia, trochę opalenizny (pomimo deszczu) i książkę po słowacku.
Zdjęcia do obejrzenia tutaj. A na deser zdjęcie pliszki, autorstwa mojego męża (zdjęcie, nie pliszka ;))

Biuro zwierząt zauważonych (podsumowuje pierwszą część wakacji)

- 2 sarenki (jedna we mgle o świcie, druga w wieczornym deszczu)
- 1 lis (stojący prawie na torach, również całkiem rano)
- 2 czaple w rzece
- 2 czarne bociany (chyba) - jeden w locie, drugi na polu
- kilka drapieżnych ptaków krążących po niebie (być może myszołowy?)
- całe stada bocianów, pliszek i mały ciemnych ptaszków z rudymi ogonkami

Bokeh?

Jakoś tak wydawało mi się, że do tego trzeba mieć specjalny filtr a tu okazało się, że nie.
